Where Was That Apple Super Bowl Commercial?

Did I miss something? Despite the promise of a commercial during the Super Bowl from Apple that seemed all-but-confirmed to announce their partnership with The Beatles, there was no commercial from Apple.

Did the deal fall apart at the last second? Could Apple not get the music on iTunes in time? Was it all a hoax to begin with (though that seems unlikely since Steve Jobs did play some songs by The Beatles on his iPhone during MacWorld)? I’m sure we’ll be hearing about it in the coming days…

    No idea, I am quite disappointed. I was arguably looking more forward to this than the game itself.


    TUAW is reporting on it as well, no Apple commercial this year.
