Valleywag managed to dig up a very interesting tidbit of information that could point towards an early exploratory look by Facebook into the world of IPOs. They found a job listing from the company for a Stock Administration Manager with familiarity in publicly traded companies.

Maybe Facebook is gearing up to launch a stock/financial information service – or maybe, just maybe they are putting the gears in motion for an initial public offering sometime next year…
