Apparently now that the iPhone is good and launched, Apple has set its sights on all its other goodies again. First and foremost may be finally pushing to get The Beatles catalog onto iTunes and the rumored corresponding launch of a pre-loaded bright yellow (submarine) iPod to commemorate the event.

If Apple is planning on launching a yellow iPod they should probably do it soon because all indications seem to be that the long-rumored widescreen iPod should be coming in time for this holiday season. As we’ve seen with the iPhone, with that widescreen, there simply isn’t much real-estate for anything else like color.
