The long national nightmare is over, Fake Steve Jobs has finally been unmasked. The New York Times has a column today exposing Daniel Lyons, a senior editor at Forbes Magazine, to the world as the man behind the myth.

Fake Steve, er…Daniel, has more on the bust himself. He apparently cannot believe it took everyone this long to catch up with him. This is a man after all who had been shopping around a book entitled “Options: The Secret Life of Steve Jobs, a Parody.” – though the author was left anonymous, it was known to be written by an editor for a high-profile magazine.

Luckily Daniel plans to take only a few days off to “meditate” and then it’s right back to more Fake Steve wisdom – this time sponsored by Forbes…
