We’re just hours from Apple’s event. I’ll be posting some thoughts as word starts rolling in around 10am tomorrow (Pacific Time). Here’s a quick rundown of the rumors (I’ll do them from most to least likely for each):

iPod:

-New UI, kind of like iPhone, but not exactly, based on OS X
-Storage space up to 120gb, still hard drive-based
-Touchscreen
-Widescreen
-WiFi
-Built in digital radio
-Wireless iTunes
-Some kind of “Circle” networking thing

iPod Nano:

-Video playback, better screen
-New UI, same as the big iPod, based on OS X
-Shorter “fat” look, which is actually the width and depth
-Up to 16 gigs of flash storage space

iPod Shuffle:

-Storage increase

iTunes:

-7.4 or 7.5
-Ring tones for purchase (iTones?)
-The Beatles for sale (including that album)
-HD Movie/TV downloads
-Wireless iTunes store for iPods, iPhones, Apple TV

iPhone:

-Firmware update
-Mobile iChat
-Something new with Google

One More Thing…

If I had to pick I would bet on this being The Beatles announcement, though I’m not as confident seeing as George Harrison was not added to iTunes today as I was hoping. Despite the massive former Beatle build-up in recent weeks, Paul, John, and Ringo are missing their guitarist on iTunes. Still, I’ve got a feeling…
