I think these corporations are really taking advantage of the "early adopter" - the person who will spend extra to get the latest technology. They can stand to make a heck of a lot of money of us.<br/><br/>As for HD-DVD I noticed Star Trek original series is slated to come out on HD-DVD first, but the price is very high 200+ bucks just for season one.
