ProBlogger posted something very interesting today, it looks like Google is about to begin (or has begun to a select few) offering the option to have AdSense ads included along the top of embeddable YouTube videos. If these ads are as non-intrusive as they look (as opposed to the new ad scheme on MSN Video), this could be an interesting new way to make money on your site.

Mashable wonders what the pay model will be (pay-per-click or pay-per-view) because there is potential for something like this to be a better money maker than regular ads. Imagine if some smaller sites (like this one) could pull down their ads all together and just “live” off the revenue from embeddable YouTube AdSense. I’d be all about that.
