Happy New Year From ParisLemon!
As this will (almost) undoubtedly be my the last post of 2007, I’ll just take a moment to say Happy New Year and thank you to all for reading ParisLemon.
I won’t get into all the statistics, but suffice it to say that its been a good year, traffic-wise, citation-wise, etc… Here’s a major one on my end:

One thing that’s been very kind this year has been the Google search results. Here are some of my favorite keywords/phrases that brought people to ParisLemon in 2007:
- “battlestar balactica ending rumors” (sadly a true rumor)
- “16gig iPhone” (a product that doesn’t yet exist)
- “microsoft santa” (a pervert)
- “in rainbows” (the name of radiohead’s much buzzed new album)
- “macbook nano” (another Apple product that doesn’t – yet – exist)
- “yahootube” (can I patent that?)
- “fat ipod nano” (related: my first takedown notice from Apple)
- “knol.google.com” (a not-yet-live URL which Google may or may not use for its Knol project)
- “jim mora playoffs” (playoffs?! you talkin bout playoffs?! you kiddin’ me? playoffs?!)
- “dennis green crown their ass” (they are who we thought they were!)
- “are you smarter than a 5th grader” (oh the sad state of American television)
- “santa sex” (see ‘microsoft santa‘)
- “facebook random play” (hmm…)
- “david bowie labyrinth” (I found it similar in quite a few ways to Pan’s Labyrinth)
- “ron paul” (I wrote one or two things about Ron Paul, neither particularly positive, and the clicks still came in)
- “britney spears” (I wrote one post, not very positive about Britney Spears, and the clicks still came in)
- “paris hilton” (I’ve been ParisLemon long before Paris Hilton because famous – or is it infamous? I want my good name back!)
- “facebook ipo” (people want in early I guess)
- “google smart ass” (me or them?)
I’d also like to take a second to thank my first sponsor, Aductions. If you’re looking for advertisers or looking to advertise somewhere, definitely check them out. They offer a unique and transparent advertising platform that is solid.
I’d also like to thank Mashable for allowing me to partner up with them on their 1st annual Open Web Awards. I’ll be at the live show in a little over a week at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco on January 10th. Hope to see some of you there.
Thanks again all for a good year, looking forward to 2008. As a preview of what’s to come, as early as next week you may very well see me video blogging for a television channel. More to come on that.
If you don’t yet subscribe and would like to, you can do that here. Happy New Year!
