Gizmodo has a shot of a Google Android prototype in the wild – which apparently one of their readers got his/her hands on for a day. Reports are that it’s light and fast – and more “put together” than Windows Mobile 5, which is hardly surprising.

While this is just a prototype pic, I have to say that the device itself looks ugly as hell. It looks like my old TI-83 calculator reborn with rounded buttons. I know some people really don’t like the iPhone touchscreen input (which I still love by the way), but come on, there has to be something better than this.
