The key to creating life on the iPhone has supposedly been leaked – the application SDK key. You can find Einstein writing it on a blackboard here.

No one has any idea how this was leaked, but it could become moot in about a month’s time when Apple releases the SDK to developers – although having such a key could allow for crafty developers to potentially bypass iTunes verification and allow them to create rogue native programs for the iPhone. This will be very nice if say, Apple doesn’t want someone creating a VoIP application that cuts into AT&T’s business…

Of course one can only assume that Apple will be changing the key now if they haven’t already.
