Timbuk2 Shows Off the ‘Steve Sleeve’ for MacBook Airs

Bag maker Timbuk2 has unveiled an ingenious new laptop case: the Steve Sleeve. Those who watched this year’s MacWorld conference (or who have seen the MacBook Air commercials) will immediately recognize the inspiration for the design: a manilla envelope.

Obviously meant only for the MacBook Air, the sleeve is made from softshell fabric and fleece. Lest you think this is just some novelty item, Timbuk2 promises:

Don’t let this simple design fool you. We’ve overbuilt the hell out of this sleeve

It is amazing to me that so many people can't seem to see through the Steve Jobs Reality Distortion Field! Everytime he gets up at one of his sissy-boy "conventions" he performs cheap magic tricks for the faithful, sometimes he even drags well meaning journalist along with him!
The platter he is serving on in this picture is a "Macbook" (even though it's thinner than a magazine) Hot Air.

Think about it, you are getting less for more! Skinny for plenty! Scrawney for money! Slim for uh, um, I can't think of a rhyme but if I could it would be something bad.

    PEOPLE, PEOPLE, PEOPLE!

Big is better! They have the iPhone, we have a CoffeeTable!

    C'mon!

Looks like your MacBook Air will shatter if you drop it in that bag.

I'd like to see a "Will it blend?" video of a MacBook Air.

@steve - ha, they have the iPhone, we have a coffee table, classic fake stevey b line.

@jess - yeah, not a lot of padding...of course that might negate the entire point of the Air :)

i'm shocked there isn't a will it blend for the Air yet, need a bigger blender I guess.
