We Only Got 12seconds to Save the World…

I first previewed the new online video messaging service 12seconds on VB a few weeks ago and then reviewed it following the launch last week. Most people are describing it as the real “Twitter of video,” as opposed to Seesmic, which has seemed to grow into something more robust.

The thing I like about 12seconds is its time limitation. Just as Twitter’s 140 character limit forces you to get creative sometimes, 12second really does because messages can be neither longer or shorter than 12 seconds. I really believe that restrictions can spur creativity.

Plus, watching a 12 second video is so much easier than watching a 5 minute one.
