So that iHologram video from the end of last week turned out not to be real, and neither is this next one, but damn if they don’t look cool.

This is a design/art project using a technology dubbed “holographic shadow” using a “Ringo” interface.

Just as with some of the ridiculous and the not-so-ridiculous Apple product mock-ups that make the rounds on the Internet, these types of things inspire people to think about the future of technology, and that’s never a bad thing.
