So tomorrow is Election Day, and I wanted to apologize for these annoying-as-hell “Yes on Prop 8″ ads that are all over this site. Obviously, these are Google keyword based, likely because I’ve written a couple things about politics (though nothing on Prop 8).

I wrote more over at VentureBeat about why this is extremely lame, and I hope Google will do the right thing and offer an easy way for people to opt-out of having these ads on their sites during the next election cycle. For now, I’ll go in to the ad filter part of AdSense and manually remove them, like Laughing Squid did.
