“New product launch, that’s all I’m allowed to say. Hold off from buying an iPhone/Pre.

It’s Zune-related, and it’s coming in June. I have the sneaking suspicion this will backfire – but I’m holding my breath for a shit-brown ZunePhone.
Seriously though, what is this? Microsoft keeps insisting it’s not launching a phone, but why on Earth would you hold off on buying an iPhone or a Pre (both of which are phones) to just get a new Zune? Maybe they’ll show off “Pink” or whatever, meant to put the Zune experience on Windows Mobile, but that seems like a bold tweet for such a potentially lame feature.

Is THIS the New Apple Netbook??? | Cult of Mac
Uh, no. This thing looks like crap. Well, not crap, but it looks like my very first Mac, the iBook, which I bought 5 years ago. It also kind of looks like a Nintendo DS.
Apple has these great looking aluminum machines, so why would it go back to the relatively cheap looking plastic? And why would it make what appears to be a completely straightforward netbook after just saying it has no desire to do that for the 50th time?
I think Apple’s machine when it gets in this field (which it will), will look entirely different. That is to say, it won’t look like this. At all.

“Don’t be surprised if you see a Green Fairy on board your next Virgin America flight,” says an email that just came to me. Yes, Virgin America is touting itself as the first airline to serve Absinthe. Freshly cut ears for all!

I don’t really follow news surrounding Facebook that closely anymore since that’s my colleague at VentureBeat Eric Eldon’s beat, but the whole TOS fiasco this week was impossible to ignore. People are really pissed off at Facebook about it, which I find humorous. But just as humorous is Facebook’s continued inability to prepare for situations.

It’s one thing when former vice president, Academy Award winner and Nobel Prize winner Al Gore signs up for Twitter and gets over 17,000 followers within a few days, it’s another when Digg founder Kevin Rose creates a Twitter account for his cold and it gains hundreds of followers in minutes.
The account has one tweet:

Though the video below is a bit long, and completely stolen by Jonah Hill, the message is important: Vote.
I think a lot of people set out with the intention to vote in a big election than forget one vital thing: That you have to register beforehand. You do — and you have to do that [...]

Could it be? The best YouTube clip ever? Some people prefer clips of guys getting hit in the groin, or clips of cats doing stupid things, but I’ll take a good “That’s what she said” — or dozens of them — all from The Office — anyday.
“Grapes. Seductive.”

Who says Twitter isn’t going mainstream? Even Hitler is addicted to it now. This hilarious video was made by the guys over at CrunchGear.
“Anyone who thinks they’re too cool to use Twitter can leave.”
The clip is actually from the film Downfall, which is a good movie.
Find me on Twitter here.
So it looks like Jack White (of The White Stripes) and Alicia Keys are teaming up for the new Bond film, Quantum of Solace’s theme song. That should be interesting, but the one below is going to be hard to top.
