I’ll just go ahead and state right now for the record that Quora is my new obsession. I know I’m not alone here and I know that investors have already been all over this, but it’s one of those things I just have a feeling about.

From the outside, there isn’t a clear path to mainstream, nor is there one to easy monetization (well, beyond search, of course). But it’s just one of those companies that impresses me at a very high level. And I think they’ll find a way to make it work.

The previous companies over the past several years that gave me that same feeling? Facebook, Twitter, FriendFeed, Foursquare. 

(And I suppose, more recently, Tumblr too.)
