The Google Bar is all about a unified and consistant experience across Google products, right? So why isn’t the UI actually, you know, consistant?

The Gmail Google Bar logo is farther to the right and higher than the Google Bar logo in Google Reader. And the Google Bar on Google.com features a logo which is much smaller than any other variety of the Google Bar. Etc. Etc. Etc.

So much for consistency.
