We’ve heard all heard this argument a few times now amongst the “current crop” of tech writers. Remember how Identi.ca was going to blow Twitter out of the water two and a half years ago? Yeah.

But if you read carefully, you’ll see the argument is pivoting. “Or something indistinguishable from RSS.” In other words, RSS may not be the future after all, but something new will come along. (Shocking predication that something new will come along.) Something maybe not RSS but totally copying it.
