Assuming the new iPhone will have LTE: iPhone 4G, followed a year later by iPhone 4GS.

I doubt it — I think that would cause too much confusion with the iPhone 4S. Also, thanks to AT&T’s nonsense with their “4G” network which some current iPhones run on already, “iPhone LTE” would be more accurate for a next-generation device.
