John Gruber’s Daring Fireball turns 10 today. This chart by Distant Shape is a fascinating way to look back. Just as in the real world, the shift from desktop to mobile has happened in a big way (in particular through the Apple lens).

I know I speak for many in saying how influential Daring Fireball has been as a blogger. In many ways, Gruber has perfected the model of single-person storytelling through focused-sharing (along with some miscellaneous). And like Kottke and others before him, he helped give power back to the outbound link in an era of self-linking.
