That is truly staggering, even more staggering when you consider that not all IOS devices ever sold can even upgrade to IOS 6. Any idea what the percentages would look like you if you adjusted only for those devices that can upgrade to IOS 6? I'm guessing it would be a whole lot more than "roughly one quarter" as you noted.

That’s a great point. There have been something north of 400 million total iOS device sales in total, which means the percentage of people who could upgrade and did is likely much higher. Sadly, I have no idea what that number is.
