‘Skyfall’ hauled in almost $90 million in the U.S. and half a billion dollars worldwide this weekend, a record for the Bond franchise.
There seems to be a pretty high correlation between the quality of the Bond film and the amount of money it has made (adjusted for inflation, as it should be). Well, if you don’t include Moonraker.
I expect Skyfall to be near the top of this list as well.
