Re: Iwatch speculations. Once upon a time, if you didn't have a clock on your wrist, there was no way to know what time it was when you were on the move. Today, all my devices have clocks on them, car radios have clocks, there are clocks on the subway, at work my computer tells me the time, do we really still need to put clocks on our wrists (aside from those who obsessively check the time every five minutes)? Maybe Apple sees watches as a technology on the way out.

Yeah, this device would have almost nothing to do with telling time. It’s simply an entry point to talk about the device. Much like the phone functionality with the iPhone. That said, I still think the time functionality would be useful. Right now I must pull out my phone 10 times a day just to see the time.
