Howdy, I'm MG Siegler. I’m a general partner at Google Ventures and a columnist for TechCrunch. This is where I collect things.

Some selected works. Some haikus. Some investments. Ask away.

MG, I enjoyed your review on Tweetbot. I noticed though that you usually use Twitter for iPhone. Any specific reason you switched back? Is it to use Twitter's native photo service? Or do you just feel Tweetie/Twitter for iPhone is inherently better than Tweetbot?

Thanks, and keep up the excellent work!

I switch between both still. The key is that notifications come in through Twitter for iPhone so that’s a huge advantage. If I’m just browsing without a notification pulling me in, it’s usually through Tweetbot.

We’ll see what happens with iOS 5 though. Obviously with Twitter built-in, their own client has a huge advantage (and third-party full clients will still be subjected to the OAuth change).
