The other day I was randomly reading over Bill Gates’ op-ed in Newsweek from May 31, 1999. What strikes me is that he was so right (at least directionally) about so much.

But even more striking: it was Apple, and not Microsoft, that ultimately delivered on many of the promises Gates made. That has to really sting.

    比爾蓋茲1999年發表在Newsweek的意見。他的遠見確實在今日實現了。但卻是由Apple領頭開創,並因此成為世界最大的資訊產業公司。至於他創立的公司卻完全沒有跟上,在這個時代顯得無足輕重。
