First, I’m reading this and thinking: but none of these are fronts that Google was in first. Sure, they have fully secured Search, but they were’t even there first. 

In other words, Google is actually on the offensive and not defensive in most of these cases. 

Second, what has history taught us about fighting wars on multiple fronts? Not good things.
