John Gruber agrees with Jin Kim and votes for “iPad Pro” over something like “iPad 2 Plus” or “iPad 2 HD”. But he also wonders if Apple will even bother to release such a device this year since the iPad 2 is still far ahead of the competition and they’re having trouble meeting demands.

I don’t have enough for a full story yet, but all I’ve heard is a whisper that the “Retina” iPad remains very much in the cards. BUT component issues may delay it by a couple of months…
