This Chromebook makes more sense to me. Get it to $199, and I bet it gets really attractive to some folks.

Meanwhile, he sounds fairly bullish on Chrome OS, which seems to be the first time anyone has sounded bullish on Chrome OS since its launch. Perhaps the squeeze is finally on.

Google Openly Makes Acer Cancel A New Smartphone Press Conference

Alibaba said that Acer “was notified by Google that if the product runs Aliyun OS, Google will terminate its Android- related cooperation and other technology licensing with our partner….We regret Google’s action.”

So much to say on this. For now, let’s just say that the words “terminate” and “open” should never go together.
