after having the first galaxy s, i will never another samsung phone again or a droid that is not a flagship phone because of carriers negligence for Android OS OTAs. It is the exact reason why developers stray away from Android because it is so fragmented across PSPs

Yep. As this continues, many more will be of your mindset as well. The Nexus phones will become the de-facto standard (instead of just “leading” devices) and everything else will be “the cheap shit”. They’ll be burners 2.0.
But don’t forget, “over the next few weeks, we’ll figure it out.”
