That’s a great point. There have been something north of 400 million total iOS device sales in total, which means the percentage of people who could upgrade and did is likely much higher. Sadly, I have no idea what that number is.
It does, I agree. I’m interested to see how they integrate the third-party apps to do this.
Still, I suspect Apple will address this with their own solution sooner rather than later.
I suspect they will, yes. And I suspect Apple will allow it. BUT regardless, Google Maps will no longer be a part of the iOS SDK.
