It’s just a matter of enough people thinking it’s a good idea. I could call Kevin and Ray and they’d love to come back and have another crack at it. It would be up to HBO. Normally I don’t like to look back, but that show was the great love of my life.

Bruno Heller, the creator of HBO’s short-lived show Rome. While he’s perhaps not directly signaling a comeback, he’s clearly not ruling it out either — especially in a post-Game of Thrones world.

I, for one, would love to see this happen. Rome was a great show that was cancelled simply because it was too expensive. But today it would probably look like almost nothing next to the budget of Game of Thrones.
