One of the biggest "check list" items for me for the next iPhone is wireless charging ... I know its still the early years for it but it would be so much easier to toss down my phone on a pad or an orb than having to plug it in. that extra 2 - 3 seconds of time add up!

Agree. I wouldn’t hold my breath for Apple doing this soon (I imagine it would require some fairly major design trade-offs), but I’d welcome it. I still have the wireless charging pad for the Pre!
